Sunday Sum-Up

Wow...I've failed at this blog all summer. I've also failed at staying on track with Weight Watchers this summer. I only gained 5.5 pounds overall, but I still feel like I didn't try very hard at all. I had about 2 months off (being a teacher and all), and I didn't put in 100% of the effort I could have to lose a lot over the summer. I wanted to stay on track and exercise more often so that when I came back this fall to my school, the students and teachers would really notice. I've still lost about 50 pounds, but I could've been halfway done with my weight loss goal if I hadn't slacked off this summer.
Oh, well. I'm back on track (and have been for the past few days). I'm back in Concordia, back in my own house with my own food and exercise equipment, and school stuff starts tomorrow, so I'll be back to my normal routine.
My aunt and cousins are coming in from Texas for my mom's birthday at the end of the week, and then I have a wedding to go to on Saturday. I'm dead set on staying within my points and not letting myself slack off again. I know that losing the weight is only part of the battle and that it's a lifelong lifestyle change. I just need to take it one step at a time and stick with it. I know I can do it, so I'm going to do it. :)
