Weigh-In Fail

Today's Weight:
272.4
Ugh........I gained 3 pounds this week. I know exactly why, too. I haven't tracked hardly anything all week, and I haven't really exercised. I really need to get back on the wagon. I just have no motivation. There are fun things going on in my life right now (dating Keegan) and I've gotten to the point where tracking my food and sticking to an exercise routine isn't a priority. I don't want to let all of my hard work go to waste just because I got a boyfriend. He's supportive with my weight loss, but he says that I'm perfect just the way I am, but I want to lose the weight for myself and not anyone else. I know I'll feel better and live longer if I can get to my goal weight. I'm going to get back on track. I just need to find that motivation again.

Weigh-In Thursday...Again

Today's Weight:
269.4
I failed again... We didn't have school yesterday due to a power outage, so my morning routine was thrown off a bit. I ended up going to work with my boyfriend, Keegan, and worked outside most of the day. It was a good workout, though! I did gain a pound this week because I still haven't been trying terribly hard to stay within my points. I really need to get back on track, but it's hard when I'm cooking for myself and two boys who really know how to eat. Haha. Anyway, I'll get back on it!

Weigh-In Thursday?

Fail Sauce. I have been off on my days all week. We had no school Monday for Labor Day and I haven't gotten my days straight since. So, I weighed this morning and ended up gaining 1 pound. I haven't been very good this week. I haven't been terrible, but I haven't been tracking everything like I should. I'll just keep going though!

Weigh-In Wednesday

Happy Weigh-In Wednesday, everyone! Well, I gained 0.2 pounds this week. I didn't do so great this weekend. I had a lot of snacks like chips and dip because we went to a car show and such. But, 0.2 isn't terrible. I've been on track all week so far. I'm sure next Wednesday will be much better! Also, I'm excited to report that my Grandma Jonell's ring finally fits me! I've lost enough weight that I can actually wear it. She died before I was born, but my dad says that we're a lot alike. I wish I could've met her. She sounded like an amazing lady, and she raised my dad to be who he is, so she must've been pretty great.

Weigh-In Wednesday

Hello, blog world! I'm super excited about this Weigh-In Wednesday! I lost 4.4 pounds this week!!! I am finally officially back on track since summer break and lost all the weight I gained during break and then some. Also, I'm excited because I officially have less than 90 pounds to lose! I still need to get back into my exercise routine, but that'll happen soon and I'm still losing weight, so it's all good.

Happy Weigh-In Wednesday everyone! I'm very happy to report that I stuck to my daily points every single day and lost 2.8 pounds!!! I'm super excited to be back at home and back into a routine. Today was the first day of school and I managed to stay within my points all day long. Back on track!!!

Weigh-In Wednesday

Today's Weight:

Sorry that this post is a day late, but I was super busy yesterday. My cousins came in from Texas, so I was driving back and forth trying to see them before I had to be back at work. I did weigh in yesterday morning, though. I was a little disappointed because I gained 0.4 pounds even though I strictly followed my points every day, but I think that it was a combination of it being "girl time" and moving my scale back to my own house (different floor in the bathroom than in my parents' house). I felt super bloated all week, so I think that had a lot to do with it. I weighed again this morning because I felt normal again (I know, I know...I shouldn't weigh every day) and it was down a lot from yesterday. We'll see what happens next week! I'm still sticking to my plan every day, so I'm sure it'll show.

Sunday Sum-Up

Wow...I've failed at this blog all summer. I've also failed at staying on track with Weight Watchers this summer. I only gained 5.5 pounds overall, but I still feel like I didn't try very hard at all. I had about 2 months off (being a teacher and all), and I didn't put in 100% of the effort I could have to lose a lot over the summer. I wanted to stay on track and exercise more often so that when I came back this fall to my school, the students and teachers would really notice. I've still lost about 50 pounds, but I could've been halfway done with my weight loss goal if I hadn't slacked off this summer.
Oh, well. I'm back on track (and have been for the past few days). I'm back in Concordia, back in my own house with my own food and exercise equipment, and school stuff starts tomorrow, so I'll be back to my normal routine.
My aunt and cousins are coming in from Texas for my mom's birthday at the end of the week, and then I have a wedding to go to on Saturday. I'm dead set on staying within my points and not letting myself slack off again. I know that losing the weight is only part of the battle and that it's a lifelong lifestyle change. I just need to take it one step at a time and stick with it. I know I can do it, so I'm going to do it. :)
